Comics on the Markt is the best annual comic festival in Gouda and the region! Every first Sunday in May it takes place in the historic heart of Gouda, in and around the centuries-old town hall. The festival has been free for everyone for 15 years: from avid collectors or comics enthusiasts to shoppers. What is there to see and do? Visit the comic fair with dozens of stalls and complete your collection. You will find all genres: from European comics and graphic novels to manga and American comics. Meet your favorite artist and have your album provided with a beautiful drawing. Every year, special fair editions are for sale and you can bid on the comic book auction for rare and sought-after items. Of course, a new version of the Gouds Strip beer is also for sale every year, with a unique label signed by the main guest of the event.
